Conduit locknuts allow standard junction boxes to be used with unthreaded conduit knockout openings in wet locations.
They thread onto the end of a conduit or connector that’s been inserted into a knockout. Their serrated teeth grip the knockout and prevent vibrations that can loosen the connection.
