Federal Domestic Hot Water Tax Credit Information

Every homeowner who purchased a Solar Electric or Solar Domestic Hot Water system during the 2019 tax year is eligible for an income tax rebate from the Internal Revenue Service. To receive this rebate, IRS Form 5695 must be filled out and filed with your tax return. A copy of IRS Form 5695 is available for download below.

For all systems installed during 2019, the IRS will credit your income tax with the full 30% of the installation cost.
